Occasionally Restored Sock Machines may be available to purchase
All
restored machines I sell
are guaranteed to
produce
a
knit sock, with unlimited support after the sale via email, phone or
in person. You will see actual close up photo's of
knitting on the machine you are purchasing.

and refurbished machines are Click Here.
Each antique machine that I sell has been
cleaned, polished, adjusted, timed and knitted on prior to
each sale.
All painted areas on the machines will remain in
their antique state which give each machine it's own personality,
and no two machines will look the same.
Prices for a sock machine can run from $1500 +
depending on the machine, number of cylinders, etc the prices will be
higher.
I have found that learning first how to knit
tubes, then heels/toes with practice yarn, helps the new person to
learn how to use the machines. The machines will not have a sock on
them when you get your machine, this is less stress on you to
try and make a matching sock. Learning the basics of knitting
on a sock machine will take a couple weeks of practice and most of
all patience.
If you are near Central Indiana I offer a free
class when you pick your new machine up.
All machines come with a copy of the Sock Knitting Machine 101 book, with written directions that tell
you in detail how to use the machine when you get the machine home.
Am a member of the CSMSA and as a member
